Here is Mimi's beautiful Thanksgiving table, complete with full-sized pumpkins painted gold and pearl.Here is what happened to those same beautiful pumpkins the next day. Winding up: OH NO, there they go! Grandma Julie has a good arm. Go Grandpa Allen! Go Poppie! It was fun while it lasted! Stephie freaked out a little bit when she saw the beautiful pumpkins exploding on the rocks below, that is, until Mimi told her that the pumpkins spread their seeds in order to grow new pumpkins for the following year. That Mimi, she's such a smart lady. : )
