Jumperoo!!!

We resurrected another LARGE piece of baby equipment from the archives. Stephie loves to help Haley bounce......and bring her lots of books to read......and plenty of toys too.
Haley is happy to have a new place to hang out.

After some early morning story time with Daddy......the girls took their first-ever bath together.
Haley thought that it was pretty hilarious!

Preschool prep party

Stephie's preschool is starting in two weeks, so today they held a kick-off party at Maryknoll Park to meet the teachers. Stephie enjoyed playing the duck game......and riding the train with Daddy.
Meanwhile, Haley (aka "Miss Marvelous" based on her onesie) was busy finding her feet.

Pottawatomie Park

While Mommy worked at a volunteer clinic this morning, Stephie and Haley explored nearby Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles. Unfortunately, they weren't allowed to feed the ducks......but there were plenty of other things to do instead. Like a nap for Haley......and a snack for Stephie....and even a playground.
We met up with Aunt Leena and baby Carter afterward for lunch. Here is Stephie practicing her ABC's for Aunt Leena. Haley thinks it's hilarious!

Mapster

After making sure Baby was well-fed......the girls headed to Cosley Zoo to meet up with some friends. Don't worry, Stephie had a map.

Tire swings and pasta hands

While Haley relaxed on the bucket swing...Stephie and Claire worked up an appetite spinning on the tire:

Sunset Park pool

The summer pool season is winding down as the kids are back in school, but Stephie took advantage of the after-school hours to go swimming at Sunset Pool today. She even braved the water slides!On drier land, Haley showed off her peaceful demeanor. She seriously hasn't cried...at all...in about a week!

Who makes the rules anyway?

Stephie and Haley had a GREAT time with Mimi and Poppie this weekend!
