Painting with Poppie
These photos are from last weekend, but Mommy was reminded of them after picking up Stephie and Poppie's magical creations today (it took a week for them to be glazed). Stephie took Poppie to Paint Me Pottery here in Glen Ellyn to make a hand-painted coffee mug.
Bingo was there too, of course.

Cute pics! I used to take Little Bear to Painted Penguin sometimes, but I have never taken Pufferfish to a pottery painting place. She's probably getting big enough to like it! Would you recommend the place you went to, for a 3-year-old? (She's been doing art since she was less than a year old, thanks to her arts-and-crafts addicted auntie Nicki, so she could PROBABLY be trusted with pottery!)
Stephie, it looks like you and Poppie really created something neat together. Can't wait to see it!
Haley, you are doing such a great job of sitting in your Bumbo..and I can see your new tooth!

Dear Haley, Now that you have that tooth, it is a good thing you have mastered putting a toy in your mouth! I'll have to break out the shopping cart cover again before you put your mouth on the cart handle like Stephie did. Yuck! What a nice birthday gift for Poppy, spending time with Stephie and having a cup to remember it by.
