Thanksgiving at Gigi and Roger's

We had a second great Thanksgiving feast at Gigi and Roger's house. The highlight of the day was getting to spend lots of time with Grandma Lois......wearing matching dresses from Gigi, of course.
Dual airplane rides!
Daddy, Stephie, Haley, and Lois:

We ended out St. Louis weekend with a Christmas parade in St. Charles. Can't wait for a new holiday season to begin!

Thankgsiving day at Mimi and Poppie's

It was freezing cold and sleeting on Thanksgiving morning, but it certainly didn't dampen our holiday cheer. First we went to a 3-D showing of the new Disney movie "Tangled" (which was super cute!)......then Daddy and Stephie took a swim in the "hot lake" before naps.Grandpa Allen and Haley doing the tango and checking out the snow:
Stephie's buddy this year was Mimi's cousin's daughter Emily. Emily is nine and was super awesome at playing with and taking care of Stephie and Haley. She even brought them gifts: Sophie the Giraffe for Haley, and a new puzzle for Stephie.
"Hey there, crazy two-year-old, get off the table!"
Finally, it was time to eat! That Grandma Julie sure is crafty.
The turkey army, ready to go!
Serious dessert.
Happy Thanksgiving!!! More pictures to come tomorrow.

Technical difficulties!

Ooops...we are having trouble uploading photos but will post DOUBLE upon our return to Chicago tomorrow night. In the meantime, Stephie has been cracking us up with some of the things she says:

"I hope that Happy Halloween is going to come back!"

"Can I have that, Haley??? She said yes." (and then takes whatever it is that she wants from Haley)

And Mommy's personal favorite: "I was hoping to have one of those" as the desserts are being passed around the dinner table. Too funy!

Brie and the blankie

Though Stephie prefers hanging out outside (especially during one of the last few warm afternoons of the season)......Haley and Brie prefer the comforts of home. They are particularly fond of quilted blankies in any form.
The perfect place for reading (and eating) books.

Rody revisited

Stephie had mostly forgotten about poor Rody, that is, until Haley started riding him too.Or rather, using him as a snack.
Mmmm, Rody ears.
Stephie is all business with her riding.
Action shot. Notice the flowing hair.
Things get a little bit crazier with Daddy's assistance.Yee-haw!
